 THE PEOPLE

Displacement is a global problem with profound social, economic, and environmental implications. That's why Solidarity works to ensure that both the planet and its people are protected.

The whole world is experiencing unprecedented levels of displacement. Conflict and environmental changes will continue to have profound impacts on human populations, directly contributing to the displacement of hundreds of millions of people.

Solidarity serves displaced people from around the globe including refugees, stateless persons, and asylum-seekers of all ages, genders, sexualities, and family units: men, women, individuals, families, children, pregnant women, and infants.

At the U.S.-Mexico border, we work with people from all over the world including populations from South America, Central America, the Caribbean, Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. They are in search of protection from a wide variety of threats: gangs, war, genocide, persecution, domestic violence, and more.

See the reality for thousands of people who have risked everything in search of safety.
