2025 tested everything. Borders closed. Aid disappeared. Solidarity Engineering stayed. Guided by local leadership, we kept essential systems running and expanded our work across Mexico, Jordan, and Ukraine. The year closed stronger than it began. Not resolved. But resilient.

In 2024, Solidarity Engineering continued its mission to provide life-saving infrastructure, essential supplies, and education to displaced and vulnerable communities, primarily along the US-Mexico border. Despite fluctuations in migration flows and political uncertainty, the organization prioritized collaborative, community-led solutions focused on public health, safety, and dignity.

In its third year of operation, Solidarity Engineering has solidified its role as the primary Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) organization in the Reynosa and Matamoros regions of the US-Mexico border. Amidst record-high displacement and a worsening humanitarian crisis, the organization provided critical, community-driven engineering solutions to asylum-seeking populations.
