After we constructed the playground, Solidarity Engineering decided it was time to provide a soccer field so that the adults could also have a place for recreation, exercise, and fun. The camp had no playing fields before we created this soccer field.

The entire field was prepared by a paid team of asylum seekers who live in the camp - the soil was tilled, the grass was planted, the irrigation system was installed, the goal frames were welded, the nets were sewn, and the entire field is mowed, chalked, and maintained by asylum seekers.
