Anik Patel, MD

Dr. Anik Patel, MD is a board-certified pediatrician interested in addressing social inequities in vulnerable populations, particularly refugee and migrant populations. After finishing his pediatrics residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City in 2017, Dr. Patel completed a two-year pediatric global, rural, and underserved child health fellowship at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, and will begin a second fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Children's Mercy Hospital in 2021. He has worked in underserved and low-resource settings in refugee camps in Moria, Greece, Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, and Matamoros, Mexico, as well as in Butare, Rwanda and Chinle, Arizona and Ganado, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation.
